Situation of human rights in Belarus

In this resolution the Human Rights Council calls on the Government of Belarus to carry out a comprehensive reform of the judiciary in order to guarantee its independence. The Human Rights Council also calls on Belarus to review relevant legislation, policies, strategies and practices to bring them in line with Belarus' international obligations. The Human Rights Council renewed the mandate of the Special Rapporteur on human rights in Belarus, requesting that he continue to report annually to the Human Rights Council and the General Assembly.
